The Psychopath: Chronicle of an Unsolved Case tells the story of Costa Rica’s first recorded serial killer. Known as “El Psicópata,” he left nineteen victims between 1985 and 1995. The documentary examines the case from a criminological perspective and analyzes the sociopolitical environment that contributed to the case remaining unsolved and etched into the Costa Rican collective imagination.
