Dinoland is a theme park with an interactive trail approximately 1.5 km long, surrounded by flora and fauna, especially ferns and birds, which makes it very similar to the forests depicted in Jurassic movies. Visitors interact with approximately 35 animatronic dinosaurs with movement and sound, and enjoy panoramic views of two national parks (Poás Volcano and Juan Castro Blanco), as well as several volcanoes (Poás, Viejo, El Congo, and Von Frantzius). It also features a waterfall approximately 70 meters high called Catarata Río Agrio, named for the acidity of the waters from Poás Volcano, mainly due to sulfur. On site, you’ll find trails, a restaurant, an event hall, ample parking, animatronic dinosaurs, the waterfall, gardens, green areas, a playground, a souvenir shop, interactive activities, restrooms, showers, camping space, fiber-optic internet — a space to enjoy with family and friends.
