Rosmeri is the last inhabitant of a ghost town evacuated due to constant volcanic eruptions in Costa Rica. She has built a new life caring for the abandoned animals and running her café. Her family and authorities pressure her to leave, but she refuses. Rosmeri says the volcano is her friend and will keep her safe, that bond gives her the strength to stay.
