Juan, a man from the city, leaves his farm and goes down to the village in search of Ignacia, the wife of his farm caretaker. The village becomes a labyrinth: he cannot find Ignacia — does she even exist? Juan unleashes the monster within. To escape, Juan must face the village, its people, and thus his possibility of change.
