The world’s largest oxcart, enormous and brightly painted, is located in the Central Park in front of the church in Sarchí Norte. It measures 15 meters long and weighs almost 2 tons. It was built to enter the Guinness World Records in 2006. In 2023, the Sarchí Municipality remodeled the shed where the giant cart is located, and it was restored. The project was led by the Sarchí Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism, private companies, and professionals from various fields.
