This film follows the fate of several characters trapped in a Kafkaesque situation—waiting endlessly in line at the Costa Rican Immigration Department. Men and women from all walks of life coexist unwillingly in this bureaucratic microcosm, where time and process seem eternal, and their futures hang in the balance.
