Luisa, 40, meets Yuliana, a 17-year-old with an unwanted pregnancy who is attempting to get an abortion. Scared, Luisa takes her to a gynecologist, who informs them that it’s too late in the pregnancy to terminate. Moved by her situation, Luisa takes Yuliana in, discovering her own inner conflict through the girl’s dilemma.
