La Ermita de San Rafael was founded in 1909 thanks to land donated by Francisco Orlich Ziz and the collective effort of the community, who built the first temple in honor of San Rafael Arcángel. After decades of community collaboration and fundraising, the current temple was built in 1961. Today, in 2024, the hermitage represents not only a place of faith but also a symbol of community commitment and unity over more than a hundred years.
